H SERIES (Oven Cure)
The go-to choice for most airsoft exterior parts
H Series is one of the most widely used Cerakote lines because it offers a strong overall balance of durability, corrosion resistance, hardness, adhesion, chemical resistance, flexibility, and wear resistance. It is a very solid option for airsoft builds that get regular handling, transport, and field use. (Cerakote)
Advantages:
C SERIES (Air Cure)
The air-cure option for parts that should not go into an oven
C Series is an air-cured, ready-to-spray ceramic coating, which makes it very useful when oven curing is not practical. Cerakote also positions this series for high-temperature applications, but for airsoft, its biggest value is usually the air-cure flexibility. (Cerakote)
Advantages:
E SERIES
A premium upgrade for thinner, harder, more wear-resistant finishes
Elite Series is designed as the highest performing think film ceramic coating on the market, unmatched in hardness, abrasion resistance, and lubricity, while also allowing a thinner coating application. That makes it especially attractive for premium custom work and refined builds.
Advantages:
F SERIES Fast-cure
PFAS-free, production-friendly performance coating
F Series is Cerakote’s PFAS-free, thin-film, oven-cure coating built for high-volume production and manufacturing. Cerakote says it offers fast curing, including 15 minutes at 250°F, or as low as 180°F for 1 hour, while still delivering strong performance characteristics. (Cerakote)
Advantages:
SUPER GRIP (air cure)
Textured grip coating for better handling and control
Super Grip is an ultra-durable coating designed to add grip and texture to nearly any surface. Cerakote offers both an air-cure version (SG-100) and an oven-cure version (SG-200). It can be used as a standalone textured coating or combined with other Cerakote products to create custom textured finishes. Cerakote also notes that the final texture depends on the application technique. (Cerakote)
